Payment information is handled through our payment service provider. We may receive transaction details, payment status and limited payment-method information needed to manage your purchases and subscriptions.
We do not need or intend to collect your complete payment-card number directly.

3. Your Reflection Journal and Personal Information
The Sanctuary is being prepared for launch and includes an optional Reflection Journal for authorised accounts.
Journal requests require an authenticated account and are restricted to that account’s entries. Journal text is not displayed in the ordinary administration dashboard or sent to marketing, analytics or AI services by this website.
Journal entries may contain sensitive personal reflections. Please avoid including passwords, financial account details, medical records or information you would not wish to store online.
Journal storage is not end-to-end encrypted. Hosting or database operators with privileged access could technically read stored entries. Such access should be restricted to legitimate security, maintenance, support or legal purposes.
Your journal entries are not shared with other Sanctuary members or published publicly by default.
Where the feature is available, you may export your reflections for personal use.
Please keep exported files secure, as files downloaded to your device are outside our website's protection.
4. Payment Processing
Digital-product purchases linked from this website are completed on Fourthwall. Fourthwall identifies itself at checkout as the merchant of record and handles payment and digital-download delivery. Its checkout uses payment providers including Stripe. Sanctuary registration is currently closed; Stripe subscription billing will only be offered when membership registration opens.
Payment providers may collect and process information necessary to complete transactions, detect fraud, manage subscriptions and comply with legal obligations.
Their handling of payment information is also governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Email Communications
MailerLite handles the linked free-resource signup and marketing communications. Cloudflare Email Sending is configured for account sign-in emails. Fourthwall handles purchase-related communications for its checkout.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link provided in those messages.
Essential account communications, including receipts, login information, billing notices and important service updates, may still be sent when necessary.
6. Cookies and Analytics
This website uses an essential secure session cookie for account sign-in. It does not currently load advertising pixels or analytics scripts. Linked Fourthwall and MailerLite pages have their own privacy notices and may use cookies and similar technologies to support:

- Website analytics, where enabled.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or tracking technologies.

Optional Google Analytics on our public website is loaded only if you allow analytics. It measures public-page visits and selected outbound clicks. We do not send journal entries, account email addresses or private member activity to Google Analytics. Checkout clicks do not confirm a purchase, and signup clicks do not confirm an email subscription. You can change your choice through Analytics preferences in the footer. Google may process analytics data overseas.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We may use trusted third-party providers for services such as website hosting, file storage, payments, authentication, email delivery and analytics.
These providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to deliver their services, subject to applicable contractual and legal protections.
Relevant providers include Cloudflare for this website and account infrastructure, MailerLite for email signup and marketing, and Fourthwall for the linked digital-product shop. Stripe is used in Fourthwall checkout and is the planned Sanctuary subscription processor.
We may also link to YouTube, Substack and other external websites. Their services are governed by their own privacy policies.
8. Overseas Processing
Some of our technology and service providers may process or store information outside Australia.
Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances to protect personal information and comply with applicable privacy obligations.
The countries in which information is processed depend on the providers and configurations in use.

We use reasonable security measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, alteration and disclosure.
These measures may include authenticated access, access restrictions, encrypted connections, protected storage and restricted administrator permissions.
No website or online storage system can guarantee absolute security.

If you cancel The Sanctuary, your subscription renewal will stop, but certain account information, transaction records or other data may need to be retained.

We will consider such requests in accordance with applicable law, technical capabilities and recordkeeping requirements, and explain where information cannot be deleted immediately.
We recommend exporting any Reflection Journal entries you wish to keep before requesting account deletion.
11. Accessing or Correcting Your Information
You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.
12. Children's Privacy
Our paid membership and digital products are intended for adults aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through paid member accounts.
